DAY 02
CASABLANCA - RABAT
At the morning sightseeing of Casablanca : At the morning sightseeing of Casablanca: The mosque Hassan II was inaugurated on 1993 and was designed by a French architect; it has the tallest minaret in the world with its 200 meters. There is room for 20.000 worshippers inside the mosque at the same time, and the courtyard gives space for another 80.000. The mosque was funded by donations, and the total cost was an estimated US$800.000.000. Free time on the mosque and continuation to the visit of the sea side, the justice court and Mohammed V square. Lunch and departure to Rabat, capital in blue and white. Visit the Royal Palace gardens, Hassan tower, Mohamed V mausoleum, the Oudaya gardens. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 03
RABAT - MEKNES - FES
In the morning, departure to Meknes, royal but divided. Sightseeing of Meknes who has been called the Versailles of Morocco, but the grand scheme for a royal palace was never completed. Today the city is the centre of a productive area, producing olives, wine, cereal crops and citrus. The old city is not among the finest in Morocco, but the royal palace is filling a considerable part of it. Visit of the town, Bab Mansour, the Berrima quarters and the Moulay Ismail mausoleum. Lunch and departure to Volubilis, visit the roman ruins. The city was a Roman settlement constructed on what was probably a Carthaginian city, dating from 3rd century BC. Volubilis was a central administrative city for this part of Roman Africa, responsible for the grain producing in this fertile region, and exports to Rome. The main area of Volubilis, and the only area that really attracts visitors, Moroccans and foreigners, is no more than 800 x 600 meters. Visit of the Triumphal Arch, Forum, Basilica, Gardens and Houses (of the Euphebus, of Orpheus and of Dionysus near the Decumanus Maximus). Continuation to Fes. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 04
FES
Full day -included lunch- devoted to the prestigious and secular city, which has maintained its role as the Islamic capital of the country. Fez, city of the endless mosque, the capital of Morocco for all together more than 400 years, home of the oldest university of the country and the leading cultural and religious centre. Fez is also the home of the oldest and largest medieval city in the world, a city that is almost unchanged through the modern ages and still most definitely alive. Fez was founded in 789 at a place between the mountains where the river was flushing by. History has provided the city with long periods of hardship, but Fez has never died. Today it has its own culture, pride, art and even cuisine. Visit of the Karaouyine Mosque and university, Attarine merdersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the suuqs and the medina, the royal palace surroundings. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 05
FES - BENI MELLAL - MARRAKECH
In the morning, departure to Beni Mellal through the village of Azrou in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Beni Melal for lunch, situated at 625 meters high. Drive across the Tadla plain to reach Marrakech. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 06
MARRAKECH
Morning devoted to the historical visit of Marrakech. The Koutoubia minaret, the Bahia palace, the Saadian tombs and Menara gardens. Lunch and in the afternoon, visit of the suuqs with all the crafts corporation, through narrow alleys in an endless and amazing labyrinth. Then, to Jemaa l-Fna square and its perpetual show; snake charmers, acrobats, dancers, story tellers, fortune tellers and dentists. Dinner and overnight. Optional Moroccan dinner under tents horse with fantasia show and folklore in the palm grove.
DAY 07
MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA
Morning free at leisure. Optional excursions. Lunch and in the afternoon, departure to Casablanca. Dinner and overnight.

CASABLANCA
Departure to the airport. Assistance to the formalities.
